Set right along Bellingham Bay, the Central Business District enjoys some gorgeous views of the water. The former GP site along the water is currently being redeveloped by the City of Bellingham and the Port of Bellingham. When finished, this exciting new development will include parks, trails, shops, restaurants and condos.
Although the Central Business District is mostly commercial and industrial, there is a growing residential population. One of the most popular attractions in the Central Business District is the Bellingham Farmers Market. Ever Saturday during the summer farmers, artisans and restaurants bring their goods to the market. It's a wonderful community atmosphere with some unique items that you can't find anywhere else. To top it off - there is lots of great food!
