Samish neighborhood is the best of both worlds. Samish offers the rural and country-living with a rural character appeal, while being situated close to urban amenities and conveniences. Hilly, tree lined streets wind through Samish passing well-maintained homes on large lots. With the exception of the Ridgemont subdivision which is more suburban, the rest of the neighborhood is quiet and secluded. Many homes in the southern part of the neighborhood have beautiful views of the lake as well.
Samish is bordered on the west side by the I-5 providing easy access to the rest of town. Just across the highway is Sehome Village with a Haggens Grocery store, Starbucks, REI and other shops and services. This neighborhood is close to Samish Way, with its many restaurants, and to Western Washington University. Historic Fairhaven is also close by and easily accessed from Old Fairhaven Parkway. More shopping and services are also located at the north end of the neighborhood along Lakeway Drive.
